Sebspeed arrives after crossing Kansas from Colorado Springs, CO. He had wonderful weather on his crossing. Lee was able to escort Sebspeed in for about the last 100 miles of his crossing.

    Finished install

    From the album: Stebel Nautilus

Relay mounted with zip tie. Wired in with heavy guage wire for the 18 amps the horn pulls. There is about 3/8" squish room between outer fairing and mounting bracket. Horn or bracket do not rub on outer fairing. Horn is protected from weather and is mounted intake-down to keep from sucking in water. All 3M heat shrink crimp on connectors.

I hung the horn using a zip tie. I used a hot glue gun and cardboard to mock up a braket to be made of steel.

I decided to slot all the holes as opposed to just round, clearance holes to allow for some adjustability. The braket sets in all three dimensions and can't easily be bent out of a flat piece of steel. Mocking it up out of an easy to work material and then duplicating in steel is the only way to go, in my opinion.

Alta Vista, KS. Situated on K-4 highway, about as good of road as you can get in Kansas.
