And Andy (Capt Ape) was taking this picture.

I loved the paint except for the mirrors...still not sure about them.
RIP Old Gal. HS, I think that one was going to go on for about 300k miles so they had to send wacko in party van to wipe it out.
Glad you are none the worse for the wear.
-
I like the black reflective ones too, gonna have to get some rim strips for my bike.
Looks good Duc!
-
hey buddy, can you move that thing out of the way so I can see that nice RWB bike behind you?
:-) very nice!
-
LOVE IT!!!!!!

Clearly he is passing the "camera car" you guys from places other than the south think everyone is a squid.
If he were from down here he would have prefaced this epic stunt with a "hey ya'll watch this!"
-
WTH Nicole...nice!
-
Epic! Glad it was captured and posted.

There's that tall drink of water actually getting replenished in the water.... :fing02:

I was going to mention the "top speed" thing like VFRBee, but changed my mind. Looks like a great place to find out tho. But I'd worry about a rabbit or something running out onto the road in front of me while doing 150 mph!
Concerned for the rabbits, huh? At 150 it would have to be larger than a large dog to upset you much.
Did you see Pendejo run over his own leg at Silverstone, thereby setting his RC212V back onto it's tires so it could get away from him post haste and try to commit hari kari by bonzai-ing the wall during qualifying?
kewl pix Sebastian...

Dang HS, love the grin! When we previewed all available accessories with the American Honda team, I didn't see the viberider listed...
Enjoy that thing and keep the grin! :cheerleader:

Maybe the dust just sticks to the rear wheel beeter from chain lube spooge or some such thing and you have the front wheel well waxed after having it powder coated...
I wouldn't fret, lose sleep or riding time worrying about it, you looked fine during our ride saturday, definately not locking upi the rear and backing it into the corners...
-
You use any front brake?
I asked him about that Sunday when you guys were gearing up to leave. Even thought it might be a different brake pad compound between front and rear.
Says he has the same brake pads front and rear but all I see is clean front wheel and brake dusty rear...
I wonder if it is the oil he uses. :laughing6-hehe:

Is that a fourth gen with a 3rd gen rear wheel, CBR600 bodywork in the front, and a 6th gen subframe and tail body work? Nice paint job and bike! Is there a thread for this build?
It's actually CBR-1000 bodywork I believe.

Top Dead Center looks like he has a little Captain in him, doesn't he?
-
Miguel,
I was thinking "why did he de-dumbo it and then add the white mirrors? " But the more i look at it the more it grows on me. I know you put a lot of hard work into it and hours and hours of sanding. Congrats on getting it done and back together.
Looks great and you certainly wont see yourself at every stop light, even at a VFRD meet. Bravo Zulu!

Excuse my ignorance, but what is this a picture of? The VFR1200, perhaps?
Uh - yeah...don't you recognize it silly? ;) just look at those rear subframe bolts
-
Look at those mandrel-bent pipes! Phwoar!
That is dead sexy...:blink:

That vfr directly beside is the sweetest I have ever seen. I hear the rider is a very cool guy, :pissed: .
Keith is so shy I never hear him speak. He did say one thing to me, "COME ON SON, PICK UP THE PACE".
I almost peed my pants and fell off the bike about ten minutes before that pic was taken. That cardboard box was one of the stupidest and funniest things I have ever done.
Doug I am pretty sure thatI never got c lose enough to you to suggest an increase in the pace...you and Brian are both too fast for me.

Cool Pix Jon! Looks like a fun time at the track.

Dang nice looking bike! I am not into the chrome swingarm but I love the execution of your personal touches. USD forks and shaving the dumbo ears jump out at you as the way it should have been from Honda.
Excellent job Safe-T.

"If he wanted to scare people away, he would have put this one on, you stud muffin you! Oh, the 80's...
WOW "
I'll get you Red Baron! Man that pic from Japan looks so totally 80's/Miami Vice some kind of white dopes on punk....but the bike was way cool!!!!
I forgot how crappy my 5th gen looks cause I get on from the left and hardly ever see that side...
