So sorry to hear HS. Don't know what to say, other than . . . . . sucks. You'll be missed. As for beer alottment, we'll be looking for some serious indulgers to fill in. They'll be plenty for all. If you can sneak away for a day, we'll have room in the room to put you up for a night or thrice.

Booked the Auto Museum for Wed, with a possible "second visit" on Thursday for any attendees looking at doing different routes on the two days. Mapped up some route options as suggestions, but leaving it up to the volunteer leaders who know the area to guide us to glorious roads. Received a last minute (days really) offer from another, well known sponsor. Who? You'll have to be there to find out. Getting ready to print off the materials and ship it all down. Went to the bank today for some US funds, F@CKING OUCH! 1.337 exchange rate. Canadian dollar now worth(less) at .64¢ Oh well, its' all worth it. Been saving up my pennies and counting down the days. Just under 9 left before we start our quest for Montrose! Just a note for everyone, we'll probably move all "as the event happens" posts back to the official sumsum <3 page. Can have everyone chime in on arrivals, route progress and posting pics for all to see.

Gopro Hero3+ Silver Edition Camera Manufacturer Refurbished For $180
didit replied to oyama's question in Bargain Finder
Ooo, that's tempting! But as the Contour Roam sits in a drawer for 11.5 months of the year, I'll keep my Benjamin for other things. Appreciate the post. Great deal. -
Saw this while I was looking over different route options If you go to Google Earth, drop the little 'street view' man icon at the intersection of US50 (E Main) and N Hillcrest Drive, there is a VFR turning left. Rather suiting to host a VFR meet, where even Google Earth is spotting VFR's. Too bad we can't have a sign posted, similar to those proclaiming deer in the area.

All good, I'll call them next week and book us in. Just over 2 weeks. Biting with anticipation. Oil change next weekend. Already started layout out the packing. Gotta print a few things, ship a few things and finalize a few things.

No real "set plans" this time round. We'll offer up some area route suggestions and let everyone decide who, where and how fast they want to go. I'm up in the air for Thursday, but will be looking at shorter routes so as to be back in time to ensure the evening is organized. Maybe a rip up the Black Canyon?

I'll be doing the 141 on the Wed, with a planned stop at the Gateway. If we get more than 10, entry is only $8 with advance notice, plus they'll save us a designated parking area for all the bikes. I've ridden past this place twice so I figured now is the time to smell the roses. We'll be sure to be back to the hotel by at least 3 or so. A quick refresh in the pool and then one of the many new surprises happens. Too bad Bailey's not coming. What will he do for the next TMac if he's not learning from SumSum!

I'm sure with everyone there, if "one" were to remove the wheels for install that it would make it easier for everyone. The facilities at the hotel are very good and there will be cages available for transport. The guys at Highland have been so helpful in prep, that I wouldn't be surprised if they offered a pick up / drop off.

Reg site closed. Now, to finish the shirt orders, the Long Sleeve SE will be quite nice, very high quality. Confirmed a M/C shop sponsor willing to help out with tires for whomever needs them. I'll repost this to the main page as well. Highland Motorcycles 970-240-2197 www.highland-cycles.com Call and order which ever tire you want for $10 over cost. Installation: $50 for rear / $25 for front & $3/tire disposal fee Must be ordered minimum 6 business days prior to the 17th/18th. Secured with a cc They are a well respected bike shop, specializing in off road but wanted to be apart of our meet after hearing about how badly Davis screwed us last time. Willing to help with any needed maintenance, oil changes, and tire mounting as well. The owner, Morgan will be at the event dinner Thursday for sure and other staff may come riding.

That's what I would have thought. Oh well, it'll be twice the fun for everyone. Those who said Yes but didn't will wish they had. I called and cancelled Franzia wine as a sponsor. Too bad as they were going to send 3 boxes of Sangria.

A big thanks to the PM's received from members on support items. With the support of our sponsors and a few key 'donors' to the event, the swag bag and prizes are excellent. Now, just 4 weeks left till we start rolling into Montrose.
