What year is the bike? 5th gen VFRs are 800s. I believe 750s are 3rd or 4th gen depending on the year.

I think it has something to do with being mistaken for an emergency vehicle (yer right, like your gunna mistake a bike for a few tonnes of fire truck). Anyway, I agree with you. Why make thing easy and safe when you can add red tape and bureaucracy and really screw things up. Just my $.02
