That's scary looking dirt road, that is. One time on a similar road the mud stuck to the tires and clogged the fender - thankful I was in a p/u.
-
Lovely shot of Monitor Pass, one of my favourite roads in NorCal.
-
Gotta ask where this is. Good on you guys for navigating past this big divot. On my trip this summer we had to pass on Angeles Crest Hwy because of a much smaller sinkhole near Wrightwood.
-
I see you have a map on the front mudguard to lead you in the right direction.
-
Your photo reminds me why I like to take long trips, especially over twisty mountain roads.
-
I see that red continues to be the dominant VFR colour
Where in Colorado is that? I've been to the state a couple of times but definitely don't recognize the location.

Every good ride comes to an end, but not always under such glorious skies.
-
A good looking bike in a great setting.
-
A very enigmatic photo - indicative of some doubt on the sale?
-
Arno, there are no twisty road or knee dragging in your photo, but it sure makes me impatient to start my summer road trip.
-
What great action image - it's my favourite featured image in quite awhile.

That looks even colder than on my trip through Kootenay NP back in 2014. It was September 1st and the temp was barely above freezing.
Love the Leo Vince cans - I've got a set on my '09.

Good catch, BAR. I really liked the look of my old Bell helmet, but it was not in the same league as the Shoei X8 Rainey that I bought that year at Laguna Seca.
-
I plan on returning there in about 3 months

RC, mirrors on the 2000 & 2001 VFR800 (pre-VTec) will fit 1990-1997 VFR750s, as well as the 1998 & 1999 VFR800. I installed a set on my '99 VFR800 and later to my '92 VFR750.
Double check to be sure, but I believe there are the part numbers for each mirror including fasteners and gasket.

Fab shot of your VFR at dusk.
I'm guessing that your VFR is the last year of the 3rd gen. Its graphics and wheel & seat colour were never available in North America.
-
Thanks for the reminder - I might have to fit in the Callahan-Weaverville stretch on Hwy 3 into this years trip to Laguna Seca.
-
Brian - do you spend your whole life on Monitor Pass!? Lovely shot, I hope to ride it on my return to Laguna Seca this July.

Nice shot of the Crayola Collection

Have to post a pic of my bike, it was a great ride.
This is in Snowdonia in Wales over Easter weekend.
That is a lovely photo as well. Looks like a chilly day for a ride, though.

As Terry says, it was standard on the 1990-1993 VFR750F. Btw, the NR750 had a natty 2-piece articulated cover on its side stand.

Boy, what a lovely spot to ride. I have long thought of travelling to New Zealand, and your photo provides yet more incentive.
Btw, despite being halfway 'round the world, your scene really reminds me of the PCH north of Big Sur, California:

Aha, a different angle atop Monitor Pass almost had me fooled.
But I am curious about the bungee cord on the saddlebag. Are the latches unreliable, or are they for extra gear on the seat?

You are fortunate to live in such a fantastic looking part of the world.
