I went out on tjhe proverbial limb and purchased a new helmet that I had no prior experience... I had been looking for one of the High Visibility helmets as my commute to work can be dicey at best with the idiots that I face here in New Mexico. I researched Helmets and especially Webbike World and came up with the AFX-15 Neon Yellow... I have worn mainly Arai and Shoei lids over the years and to my big suprise the new one for the money has been great. the fit and finish is great....Helmet noise is less than my Shoei and the only thing that I am having problems with is the chin strap mechanism as it isn't the old D ring....it works good just different......no for the money and the ability for the cages to see me, I am happy so far...have a trip planned up into Colorado in a few weeks so we will see how I like it after that....
I have a set on order and am a little concerned as I have Staintune exhaust on my 2002. I also have the rear fender eliminator so it might be interesting mounting them...
1967 Triumph T-100R, Rebuilt to a cafe racer, lots of fun doing the rebuild, previous to the Triumph 93 VFR, should have never sold it. best bike ever.....really do like my 02 however
Needing to do some painting on a fairing piece on my 91 vfr and was looking at Color Rites products and was wondering if anyone of the VfR community has tried their aerosol cans. I don't have that much to do and they seem to have a good product.Any assistance from you all would be appreciated .
Great looking vfr, I have one just like it except for the wheels. Wish I had the seat cowl,I bought mine in July from a kid who layed it down and messed the left side plastic up but have some experience with fiberglass repair and once it gets painted it will look real good. I paid 900.00 for her and she rides and handles great.I'm new to the cycle scene, been racing shifter go karts for the last 12 years and the vfr is my new therapy.56 years old and don't want the Harley experience
