here a tip... get a auto matic center punch to make a dimple where you want to drill.. putt lots of greese in THE GROVE OF THE BIT!!! it will trap and hold alot of the shavings..
I would recommend using a quality cutting fluid, like Castrol Moly-Dee for example. It doesn't smell too pleasant(lots of sulfur), but it works well. It makes the drill's job easier, and extends the life of the bit. Excellent for use on steel!

Now I'm off to the garage to Roy-proof it :goofy:
That's easy just leave Wild Turkey outside & I'll never get to the garage :goofy:

Maybe...but I thought there was another one too, with only one exhaust side exit...maybe it's just my case of CRS...
There was another that I remember seeing that had a small muffler attached where the collector exits near the footpeg.
There was a guy from Oz that put a Staintune spud in the outlet of the cat, and had no other muffler of any kind. I think Rob has some pics(veefer800canuck).
There was another US member who shortened their Yoshimura can, and posted about it. He also had one or more vids.

Just FYI to all out there....this doesn't work on a 5th Gen. I tried and tried and tried and tried and tried.....
See!! The vtecs are better!!
Please don't take that seriously, anyone, I have no intentions of going there... ! :deer:
Thanks for the review Ken! Once I figure out if my triples are/aren't tweaked, I'll be doing this install! Now go wash your bike! Shame on you for putting her away like that. :P

I'll be following this project for sure, I have been wanting to do up an underseat exhaust for my F4i...

I bought my Ohlins (CBR F3) on eBay for $300 and changed the spring ($100) and all I had to do was make a 1" spacer as mentioned here. I bought a Fox for like $225 before that.
Any aftermarket shock for a honda WITHOUT a fixed remote should work with a spacer and spring change !
Valuable information right there, I say! My F4i just gave up its shock tonight, which shall be shelved for a(hopefully very short) period of time until it gets a new spring and becomes a VFR part :salesman: Makes me really hope that I end up liking the 1000rr shock that's slated to go in the CBR... :joystick:

So, how much of all of this wonderful information will apply to my 05 when it falls out of warranty coverage in a year, given I'd like to keep ergos as close to stock as possible? :P
My main "wants" for the project would be:
- stock ergos
- radial mount brakes
- matching wheels a plus(open to non-vfr wheels)
Thanks in advance!! :D

I'd be more than happy to do that for you, just as soon as you buy me a dyno. :lurk:
