  1. Cap'n, My VTR uses vacuum to begin the flow...not sure if the VFR does this also? And, the VTR is susceptible to vacuum issues as well.
  2. Looking to buy VFRNess or something similar for 97 model. Anybody got a line on this? Thanks in advance, Andy
  3. Totally agree...have a set on my 97 & they work great.
  4. I'm running an F3 front & 4th gen VFR rear (modded to stock spindle). Speedo drive removed & replaced with Sigma MC10 "cyclocomputer".
  5. Thanks Cap...they look custom & close to no $$. Great look.
  6. 3rdGen...but reliability is an issue on the OEM pumps? A Facet has no points/seals & is solid state...will probably last the life of the motor... 😏
  7. Thanks Cap. Good info about your Ebay find...may go that route. Other sellers are a bit pricey & w/o guarantees. I found a Facet pump that may work with mild mods of the mounting/routing. I was thinking 90deg barbs on either side & vertical mounting. That should point the fuel lines towards the front. Horizontal mounting might work under the seat? Now to figure out how to frame mount, and whether I'd need to isolate it from vibrations? It flows 1.5-4psi with 10gal/hr @ 1.5psi. No siphon valve, but it does have a backflow check valve. It has no points or diaphragms to go bad either. Might be a permanent fix...and about $65 including parts. Could get similar with 4-7psi for same price?
  8. So, what "other plumbing" was needed? That looks like a direct bolt-on for the 4th Gen VFRs?
  9. Anyone fitted a Facet? What would work well? Thanks in advance
  10. Slo...after a closer exam, I see that now. Had thought about F3 internals, but it was already emulated & working well, so no extra $. Cap...actually got a new door a few months after the pic was taken with a central handle. And, his VFR looks nearly exact to your pic, except his has a custom exhaust, Sargent seat, F3 rear wheel and CB1 front end with F3 wheel. Rides nicer than my 97 VFR, but not quite as nice as the Hawk.
  11. Hey Slo, Is that an F3 front on the grey one? IF so, what you using for a speedo?
  12. To answer the FAQ: Capt - The handle is on the left of the door...it's a 2 car, but NO cars in there now (but 3 Hondas). Bmart - not sure if "curious styling" is a compliment or not? The white matches my brother's 1987 VFR almost perfectly? I have more white bodywork with gold emblems...working on gold wheels for it currently. The Hawk's seat cover is from a Hawk Forum member in Europe...his name is Fabian, although I often use a Corbin with white piping instead. BTW, motor is modded 70hp, emulated forks, Fox shock & F3 front; he rips up the AR backroads.
  13. Cap...where'd that "other identical thread" go? Can't seem to find it now. Thanks in advance, Andy
  14. Me too...I have this one for the last 10yrs. And another blue one, in pieces right now, since 1992. Also have an 01 VTR1000, with light mods.
  15. I've done some searching thru the forums, and can't seem to find a detailed set of instructions (esp w/ pics) OR a set of PAIR cover/blockoff plates FS? Anybody got any files/pics/sources for this stuff? Thanks in advance
  16. Good morning VFRD, Looking for a reasonably priced windscreen for a 4th gen (94-97) model. Prefer tinted...either light or dark...slightly higher than OEM height. New ones are about $200 shipped, and I'm not ready to spend that to "try" something different. Thanks in advance...send pics to PM please?
  17. Has anyone had much luck lately finding a good quality PAIR Block off kit for the 1994-97 VFRs? Around here all I can find are kits for the CBR600 & later gen VFRs, etc, nothing listed for the VFR750. At the very least does anyone know if other Honda models PAIR kits fit the VFR750's? Also could use a good description of the process? Mine has only the upper fairings (I have bottoms, but trying to repair) & the hoses need to go!
  18. Good morning Forum, Also looking to buy the seat "rails" for a 94-97 Viffer. Seller can't seem to locate the set for my newly acquired "scoot". Anyone know if the sets from the 90-93 models are plug & play? Andy
  19. Any possibility of one for the 94-97 models?
  20. Mostly seat covers there...or everyone is asking $150-250 with no "offer" options. WAY too expensive to cut up & mod.
  21. Looking for stock seat with usable foam & seat pan...cover can be damaged or non-existent. Will be modifying for improved passenger comfort. Might be interested in good condition Corbin as alternative. Thanks in advance.
  22. GDog, These are from a 93 VFR? Andy
  23. Interested in this for a 97 VFR...how much & how long to build & ship to the US?

How could I pay you most easily?

    Thanks,

    Andy Thomas
