Look at that Paul you're up there 2 days in a row. You're famous. I snapped a few shots in the Castle Junction area this year also, speed limit on that road is ridiculous, at least the scenery is outstanding.
This is Peter Loughheed provincial park in Alberta (aka Kannanaskis Country). There is a section of the road that is closed during the winter due to wildlife migration. I was there a few days after the road opened for the summer. There was zero traffic to speak of, at the higher elevations there was still snow in the ditches and one section was recently covered by an avalanche.
Tyke: Did the K-Country loop from west end Calgary, Bragg Creek, Longview Hwy 40 and back to my place in 3.5 hours. Needless to say there were no LEOs to be seen. :thumbsup:
