The acceptable dimensions are 95x45x55 / 95x44x56 at a cost of approximately  $415

"Approximate" because I'm not sure how much shipping will be from the manufacturer to Auspost warehouse in the states.

So going this route thru Auspost is going to be approx au$1500 to the door

I punched those dimensions into the Auspost shipping calculator and they are to big. Will not ship. So not sure, ill call them and see if they can do something else or point me in another direction.

I haven't used it but I just read thru it and we would need the boxed dimensions and weight for shipping rate. From what I also understand is that if a single item is valued at over a AU$1000 additional import duties apply, so at our current exchange rate maybe we could separate into 2 parcels. 10% Gst is also applicable ontop of purchase

I don't understand,  1998 5g has v.a.i & no vtec, 2000 5.5g has v.a.i & no vtec, 2003 6g has v.a.i & vtec, 2007 6.5g has v.a.i & vtec, 2014 8g has v.a.i & vtec, 2018 has ??? & vtec 

And with what airbox.. the same yes?

If you have a look at Honda's own parts fiche for 2017 8g vfr800 with the same airbox you will note not that they DO NOT supply the variable intake valve anymore and have replaced it with a cap, ie deleted it. Now I do not own a new 2017+ 8g so I'm not sure if they even have the valve anymore.

Ok, so for the first time in about a month or two I fired up the rapid bike software and installed the updates (thanks phil:-).

I notice that there's a new base map, identical to my moded map....ha,

(or did I save my moded map over the base map) anyhow's I sent & saved the new twin map to THE RACE UNIT.

I went for a short test ride and felt things were smoother. I'll see tomorrow when I'm in stop start traffic & after work when I head for the twisties.

Hey CR, can you manually make a make in the RB Master software ? Reason I ask is I'd like to copy my PC3 Custom Map injection % figures into RB as a base line, as their base map will be for a stock Vtec engine !

Oh and another thing, will the unit power up on the USB, without being attached to the bike ? So I can do the above in comfort of my office

PLEASE DON"T use PC3 or PCV cell values in RB cells as they may not correspond to same exact value. And yes USB will power up the unit no need to have the key on to make/view the software after retrieving it.

Ok so the harness is all connected and plugged in, the bike starts and runs, however when I connect the usb and try to get a connection on my laptop it says ERROR...TUNING BIKE/RAPID BIKE NOT CONNECTED (20)

??????? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???????

Do you have the right software installed to tune the module? Did you download the master software with your serial number from the instructions?

Are you running windows 8 ? if so please let me know I will e-mail you a usb driver, the problem is simply your PC doesn't have the driver to connect to RB module....

PLEASE keep it in mind that if RB is not installed properly , you bike won't run.......
