  1. The bike has been sold... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Absolutely! I can't miss an opportunity to ride the track ;) Do you come out?
  3. Hey Seb, I used Sherwin Williams ATX. This was my first foray into automotive base/clear from a gun. I used the famous Harbour Freight $15 mini touch-up and detail gun. I'd like to have a nicer gun but I can't fault this one much. It does struggle with any of the heavier metalics as it only has a 0.6mm tip. Had paint left over so I have been doing my helmet to match, final clear goes on tonight!! That's the idea, 250 production racing is really taking off everywhere! It's the biggest class in Atlantic Canada. I know the bike has taken a bit more development and parts are limited but the VTR is a kick ass bike, I prefer it to the CBR and the Ninja.
  4. Don't park it next to Timmy's bike. Why? What do you mean??This is related only in the fact that it is another custom paint scheme I came up with. Oh, and it is totally an Interceptor. This time I did all the work myselfl!
  5. I think I will use Blue Sensation Pearl B-548P After more digging around I found in the old rear hugger thread someone stated that Ford KM 6479 is very close. I don't know about having a Ford color on my bike though
  6. Yeah the YR-502P is what people use a lot, I think it's from an Acura Vigor, 1991 Acura Legend etc. I guess the follow up question is does anyone know a similarly close auto color to Spencer Blue? I may use Honda Belize Blue although it's not as deep as I'd like. I am painting my race plastics not trying to color match any panels.
  7. Hi Guys, is there any way to get a Honda paint mixed at the automotive shops? I checked this morning looking for Spencer Blue, Fighting red, Shasta White and Magtec Gold with the Honda codes, Fighting Red was the only one to come up. :( YR159M MAGTEC GOLD MET. seems to be the best bet for HRC Gold Wheels
  8. I put 813Km on the bike Sunday, was a great way to spend the day, still for sale but no takers.
  9. I have listed my bike for sale with all extras included, $6999 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  10. Thanks, I love my P5! I don't drive it in the winter and I entertain the thought of selling it but can't really. I've had it since Sept. 2001. It's on Cardomain.com if you want to check it out, spotthedogg
  11. I just realized a bunch of my pictures were missing from here, fixed for your enjoyment. Here are a few more.
  12. Yup, Tire sponsor, haha Not just the Pirelli and Shoei decals but the Incline Sports as well. Paint looks great too. I will look for this one on eBay soon. Yeah, Incline Sports paid for my Pirellis ?I hope not
  13. WOW! Those are totally my pictures! WTF?!?
  14. Started another bike project, and it's an Interceptor! This bike was bought strictly for track use at track days and hopefully racing Supersport Light next year. It's a 1990 VTR250 Interceptor and it runs beautifully, $1000 for the bike and a few hundred going into it to be ready for my first track day August 3rd! Here is a link to what I am doing http://vtr250.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1415
  15. Thanks for putting a big smile of pride on my face BR! I hope you have been keeping it rubber side down!
  16. On your suggestion I started a build thread for my CB360 in the Other bikes section. I pulled the VFR out on Sunday and started her up, felt good. I pulled the body work and extracted my HID kit, just going with a set of Silverstars http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php/topic/65821-the-reason-i-havent-been-around-as-much/page__gopid__771413#entry771413
  17. Thanks again so much everybody. I have been very happy with the result, enough to dull my desire for a 7th gen! The CB360 is coming along too, needed a slow bike to ring out around town
  18. I haven't been visiting very often, first time since the format change actually! I have been building a new toy, a 1974 CB360G Café bike. If you wanna check it out I have a build thread at http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=22435.0 I still have the VFR of course.
  19. I tried Boeshield T9 from Boeing labs, not too sure about it but I only lubed twice all summer.
  20. Here's a pic of my friend Mike's new to him RWB, 1100Km's on it. Me in the driveway, I think this was the first ride of the spring 2009.
