Nice. I wonder if the hole looking for a purpose in life is the one where the front stand goes.
If so, I guess you can remove the lights if you need to use it. :fing02:

Another Frankenbike.
Rock On!

I took my reflectors off the minute I rolled my bike into the garage for the first time, they lasted 19 miles... no crack in my fender yet?
All I know is mine cracked in a couple rides or so after reflectors off.
And the black ABS cement works, but is none too attractive.
-
as soon as I put my helmet on the bike just fell to the left.
Clearly this is the helmets fault, and it should be fired!
I mean, that's a bummer.
Fender looks good Seb. I could use a new one, since mine is cracked by both top mounting bolts.
Seems some asshat mechanic removed the reflectors but didn't put a washer in there to fill the space.

Some of those pics remind me of my first MC road trip.
Loading up the Honda 350 in the apt bldg courtyard.
I had to take 1/2 the shiit back upstairs. Way too marsh. :goofy:
Edit. The bags make your bikes butt look huge.

Looks good. :fing02:
And unique. Not many people are gonna disassemble all that and get those parts coated.

Its actually a spring used years ago for a window crank handle,, how many here remember "rolling" a window down in their cage?
Yeah I do. My pickup has hand cranked windows, and it's a 2002. No electric door locks or mirrors either. :pissed:
About Freddie,,,,,,well, I'm just not gonna say, it may make others jealousSo, its a forgery then?

A note for the cheap amongst us:
Last time I was in a junkyard, I removed and bought a set of horns from a Volvo. They are just like fiamm nautilus horns (they just may be for all I know) and loud as can be. I even took the mounting bar the horns were on. 5 bucks.
I like that one Timmie. Maybe I should go visit Pick Ur Part.
The bullhorn would probably just help me get in trouble.
-
Perfect. A condom for your horny. :goofy:
I bet that's loud.
-
Nice job and nice write up.
Painting a lot of work. I decided after painting one bike with rattle cans, I wasn't going through all that sanding again.
Good explanation of why a good paint job is so expensive too. :D

Four barrel shotgun at the rear, and bitchin blue wheels. :idea3:

What, huh? Oh, THAT White Power.
The name always seemed a little KKKish to me. I trust that's not why they picked the name.
Noticed they had some black springs and other colors too, so...

Nice. Good how to post.

An enthusiast may be in the process of "farkling". The completed motorcycle would be all "farkled up".
Not to be confused with a shart. Or sharting yourself.
I like the extra gauges. Gadgets. Farkles, whatever.

Looks like a nice clean job.
But, DEAR HONDA! None of us riders should have to go through this electrical crap,
that should be good to go for 20 years+ right out of the crate!
-
Nice. As soon as I cash that big lottery ticket.

I had a Magellan unit that I took with me on my big trip, but I never even turned it on... just used directions I printed out from Yahoo maps...
I'd at least have turned it on. Paper maps are fine by me so far. For a long trip to unfamiliar turf, yeah then I might really want one.
I love the satellite images / maps. I've seen plenty on computers, and they're getting better all the time.
But, Do they have those on handheld GPS now? That would be cool.
Still not necessary though. I must be a cheapass.
-
Let me know when this thing comes down closer to $299.
Looks like a fun toy, but that's all it would probably be to me. :D
-
Thanks for the reminder how labor intensive bodywork and paint is.
And why I never want to do it again.
-
Now how about a full song sound clip? VFR running from zero to redline in every gear.

Nice carving job on the foam, Larry. Now you need to get a leather remnant to make a cover, or have Z Custom do it.

I painted a tank, 2 small side covers and both fenders on an old bike years ago. Spray cans in the basement. Came out decent but not professional looking. Best viewed not too close. The bitch is in the prep work. Sanding, sanding, and more sanding. :goof:

Formation? I don't mind that on a straight boring stretch, like PCH. :goofy:
But in the twisty bits, sometimes overtaking moves are needed.
I always do it safe, quick, and on the left.
I someone faster appears in my mirrors, I'll stay in the right track and wave them by in an easy passing spot.
But, I'm not following a bunch of Hardleys roaring along at half speed.
I let them know I'm there, and pass on the left. Quick, but no
