    Monday is a Holiday .

  2. Garage update time!

In addition to getting the "Yellow Peril" (the hapless imitator, sadly, not the original) running, while I was back in California over the summer I managed to build two workbenches and pretty much get the place well sorted.

The workbench is a solid fire door, framed with 1.75" angle iron and covered with a big sheet of stainless steel (If I were to do it again I think I would just buy a stainless steel door!) But it's dead flat and dead solid--which is exactly what I wanted. Ridgid forged steel bench vice (damn, good vises cost, don't they?)

I also built the long wooden workbench and the shelves (as well as making a sheet ply loft for additional storage in the rafters).

Now all it needs is a hydaulic lift... :tongue2:

    Ciao,

    Need more MC....

Did you ride the bike before they did the service work .

    Morning,

The bike was like it before the service. They carried out the service, rewound the stator as they mentioned that it has a few burnt areas, new plugs etc and sync'ed the valves. for the 1st 100miles the bike was great but it then went back to being rough under 5k. The pair and flapper mod made it better but it still feels as if its misfiring at low speeds. Checked the FPR and that is ok but noticed a drop in voltage when revving.

Try disconnecting the battery and see if it resets the ECU.

  4. That's the damage, a new lever and she's good to go. Well maybe a Chinese skin graft. She'll be ready to ride before I'll be fit to lol.

The jacket is a bit shocking for speed of the crash

That was expected. This popping the length of the seam was not

    Those pics hurt my eyeballs.

Switch, you are one lucky dood geographically speaking.

    Thanks Terry ...
