  1. I asked the question many moons ago now. Still interested if you have pics, please forward. I can't remember if i PM'd you though or just asked a general question Thanks.
  2. Havent tried them but $62.99 for grips? R U nutz? Try the ProGrip 699 or 719 for under 10 dollars. (I use the 699s )Both are very good. Add in a throttle rocker for another 10 bucks and you should be good to go. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/4/68/4489/ITEM/Pro-Grip-699-Open-End-Sportbike-Gel-Grip.aspx?WT.ac=SLIsearch http://throttlerocker.com/ :+1: ridiculous price, 699's and throttle rocker is the way to go. i have them and tour a lot.
  3. i'm in all the way, would love a pair. Already have the mirrors, been trying to work out a mounting solution for it. Think these lights will be awesome look on the bike. Watching and waiting with interest.
  4. Well the general consensus is Corbin or Sargent seat. however, i have never used either of these i have a custom seat with gel inserts from www.caulfieldleather.co.uk. Also try www.smartrrrs.com and www.motorbike-seats.co.uk. I have friends that have used the last one and i have used the first. Both are extremely friendly and the workmanship is second to none. I am about the use the smartrrrs for another seat project. Check them out you have unlimited custom option with the first one and the last one.
  5. This topic is a saver, many thanks i have been trying to find a good mount for a Sat Nav and have finally found one plus pictures. Cheers. know i can go and get one. Looks like the setup also doesn't restrict the view of the instrument panel.
  6. Pazzo changed my appreciation of the bike. loved the VFR from the beginning but now ride in all weathers. The improvement in comfort and having the adjustability was heaven for me (short fingers). Never thought about skins and my concern would be gradual rotation or slow twisting. But would be interested in seeing a pic and a review in 3, 6 and 9 months time to see how they performed. Good luck.

    Pazzo

Finally fitted them on mine after the originals were bent when it was vandalised. Went with all black Shorty ones, they look good and as i have short fingers they are ideal. With a simple flick of 2 fingers the gear change is smooth. Wish i had done it years ago now. They are the way of the future.
  8. I am seeking some info and anyone who knows where to get some aftermarket parts from. 1. Tail Tidy, i am looking to remove the standard license plate bracket. i am looking for something smaller that will hold the license plate and possibly take the bracket to hold the Givi Luggage system. I hate the look of the bike with the standard rear. 2. Rear Sets, looking for something to replace the standard brake and gear sets with. 3. Handlebars & levers. I have shorts fingers (rugby accident as teenager, broke all of them and the stopped growing, no laughing please), saw some pro italia bars a while back but never won them on ebay, now can't find decent ones. plus does anyone know how you can attached a carbon version of the exhaust shield to an aftermarket exhaust. Currently using Laser Xtreme. Standard pipes have a raised welded area already threaded to hold the bolt. Also had the tool kit stolen, so can anyone inform me of the parts and sizes included in the tool kit. Many thanks.
