  1. I think the reason why the frame slidders that you have to drill to install are so effective, is because they are centrally located and ballanced to keep your bike from touching the ground. All of the non drilling slidders that I have seen will cause either the front or rear of your bike to contact the ground. Good luck. Post up what you decide to go with. I would like to see how they would look on an 08. :rolleyes:

  2. So, I was looking at a new CBR1000RR, and thinking, dang those blinkers mirrors are nice......real nice. Wish I had those. Then, "why not". Sure the angle is not the same, but the mount profile is very close. Nothing an alum. angle adapter couldn't solve. And hey, I AM a designer with a full machine shop. I looked around, and yes, there are some easier options on eBay, but they don't look great. And....a bonus, the design would look GREAT painted to match since you can take the paint all the way down the stock. So, has anyone tried this yet?? Photos?? Thoughts? Not exactly a cheap experiment.

    Check out Darth Blings mirrors... not hondas but they work.

    I would really like to do this as well, but I missed out on the Darth mounts by a little bit. I don't have ability, so I'm jus waiting....
