I was just there on August 1st... Will be posting the ride report here soon. Too bad my VFR didn't make it!

I don't like black bikes but this is a great shot. I hope this picture is on your wall!
+1 for the calendar

Either your bike is brown or you have a good coating of canyon dust!

That would be Spiral Highway!
You know you have done alot of road trips when.....

Rode my F4i on the salt flats in late May of 2007. There was so much salt caked into the bike I am sure their is still some in there. No amount of washing would get it all out.
Couldn't do speed runs on the salt flats then, it was too soupy. It was very mushy that time of year.

Might be the angle but that looks like all the fun of carrying a passenger without the talking! Those bags are HUGE!

Motorcyclists get stopped in California???? this is news to me.

gravel! The VFR's arch nemesis...

Beautiful. Looks like you are the only person for hundreds of miles. Nice luggage setup, do the saddle bags scratch the fairing?

Almost all of the roads/highways between hwy 1 and 101 are just amazing. Were talking race track smooth, cambered corners, amazing scenery. I just finished a 3000+ mile road trip to the MotoGP and back, I will have details of the trip posted soon.
So where is hwy 253? and this section?? Like to ride it. -
Thanks for all the great comments! What's this calendar you speak of?

It was part of a three day trip through western Washington and BC. The quality of the pavement in the States is so much better then in Canada. Can't wait to do this identical trip again in this year!
I have a ride report on it which I should post up.
