yea, I forgot to mention the flapper and the soft limiter (both done on mine). I am in the minority about the seat though. I ride on the stock seat even though I have the option to put on a sargent.

also, if it has stock sprockets, you MUST change that. The thing is geared for like 240MPH or something. WAY TOO TALL. At least you have the SP2 improved injection that takes away a lot of the snatch.

Sencond must do mod is the shock linkage. Must be done.
You already have a good back shock. I hope yer front end has been done. If not, that is number 3.

My bike has an HRC 1/6 turn throttle on it and it hasnt bothered me enough to change it.

I have used Pilot power 2TC on my RC51. 120/70 front and 190/55 rear. Most owners call RC51s "Piggies" because they favor stability over flickableness, so the added height of the 55 profile really helps on the turn in. I have tried both and prefer the 55 by far. The only problem is the 190/55 is always the most expensive tyre in the catalog. I am pretty sure the 190/55 did not exist when this bike first came out, so the manual specs the 50.

DUDE ! That is soo groovy.
When you get new tyres do yourself a favor: Opt for the 190/55 rear. It costs more, but it handles sooo much better.

The petcock is the achilles heel on this bike. There us a bix box headed your way with a rebuildable one in it.

Gefeli, Leon! I know what a hassle owning multiple vehicles is over there, so you must really like it. You made a great choice.
Echt, echt mooi.

makes for more assured shifts, with much less slop. new starwheel and spring to turn the shift drum more crisply.

It sounds like a 360 degree motor.
I suppose from the different pipe merges?
yea, that and the down pipes that looked about twice as big as the stock items.

I rode it. It is BEASTLY. The wide bars give it a perfect riding position. It sounds like a 360 degree motor. I loved the 5 sportbike guys at the Gap Store arguing over what it was.

Getting it "right" would mean failing the emissions standards.
So, I'll bite on this and ask a question, why is it that cars don't have the issues that bikes do? What is different in bike engines vs car engines?
DIFFERENCE: CAR-Getting 75% performance out of 2 or more liters of displacement
BIKE-Getting max performance out of 800cc.
