Fabulous pic!

Looking good there Doc. Hope all is well with you and yours.

A dramatic photo of a fabulous machine with a great name.
-
I tried to read it but could not get into it. I have seen to bookcover pictures though and instantly flashed to it when I saw your pic.

Lovely picture of a great machine. The pic invokes the Stephen King novel The Dark Tower. How does it feel to be at the nexus point of the time-space continuum? (Although the "tower" in your pic is somewhat unimpressive.)

Fabulous picture of a fabulous machine.

Nice shot Knute. Looking pretty relaxed there pal.

That is one beautiful machine. Congratulations.

I like the black frame.

Silver wheels!
Were these painted / powder coated?

You are my hero!

Looks like the cockpit of an irresistible force for killing hooved forest rats. I've heard you've gotten a few. That makes me happy. Too many of those buggers around now days.

Are we going to get to see any of your recordings?
Your mounting arrangment looks the same as my fork light mountings. Nice work.

Why am I not surprised?

I agree completely.

Outstanding picture! In my book, smiles per miles is the goal.

I have only sent one sample. I imagine their process is designed to measure an engine over time. So my results lack any historical comparison.
And I was unaware of the ability to measure engine wear prior to this.
But it does inform my decisions on oil changes and Honda's recommended 8,000 mi oil changes. A goal of limiting my use of petroleum is balanced against my desire to help my machines last as long as possible.
I also assume there they have an idea of what sort of wear an average engine can take based on a large amount of historical data.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I do not know how and it's kind of late.

I have it on good athority, though not through personal experience, that those Y2K's take 20 yrears off one's age and add 125% more sex appeal to the pilot, at least until the helmet comes off.

Fabulous!

I can only wish I lived near there. My one trip from LA to the Columbia River Gorge was the most fabulous trip I've taken on my mc.
And I stopped figuring how many miles I've rided my fifth gens at 190,000 miles.

Quite a scenic picture. The Valley of Death has so little shade, at least the one time I went through, this must have been a rare occurence. So how hot was it?

I have taken my Silver Hammer on my '01 Cool Breeze Vfr800fi on that very road quite a while ago. And it was glorious indeed. Thanks for the reminder.
I wish I had been able to make the Custer Meet Up to hang with one of my favorite groups of peeps. Y'all rock.

Fabulous pic of a fabulous place. Utah - Moab to Zion and Moab to Green Ricver are my absolute favorite places to ride. Great National Parks and free camping in national lands. My overall inpression is riding on another planet.
Highly recommended.
