  1. Has anyone ever tried GOPRO? I've read alot of decent things about their cameras and the quality of the camera's look decent. Decently priced...although they are a bit clunky and limited in recording time, but heck...you get a camera you can use scuba diving, bike anywheres...

    There's been quite a bit about GoPro on this site. From watching samples from vimeo, it looks pretty good. Very reasonably priced as well.

  2. there are very few 'current gen' camcorders that have video inputs and mic inputs. And there seems to be a gap growing between the consumer and pro cameras. For most positions it seems SD DV-based cameras work the best. Then again, if you are getting a camera for the inputs, there are other recording devices out there to do that. Some even have multiple camera inputs.
