That's the NC side on the Cherohala Skyway, one of my fav roads. 54 miles long from Tellico Plains, TN to Robbinsville, NC with only two turn offs, but a dozen scenic overlooks like this one.

Went thru there saturday nov 3rd, !! watch out for those first few miles going west from 129!!!

Loose gravel over tar patch job all over the rd, but clears up after a bit.
