...also, before this thread goes tankslapping and gets closed... How to choose the proper viscosity of synthetic oil? The service manual recommends 20W40 or 20W50 for temperatures above 32F (which is all we get here in Florida), is that what I should use? Or are there different rules for synthetic oils?

Not meaning to hijack your thread FotoMoto... But your pictures reminded me of the question I had for a while: why do people replace their brake reservoirs with these... things?

I would certainly use a color less conspicuous than gold. Other than that, I don't think tall handlebars are too out of place on a VFR. The police VFR750P/800P look just fine... except for the mirrors maybe. I was seriously considering the handlebar mod myself, but I think I'm starting to get used to the stock clip-ons.

:unsure: The muffler simply HAS to run in parallel with the bodywork, otherwise it just looks out of place. If you could raise the entire muffler and run it along the edge of the fairing... but that would involve much more than just turning the peg bracket.
