Got a little lost and ended up here after 50 miles of lovely twisty roads. Read up latter and found that it was once worlds 2nd biggest mercury mine (New Almaden was biggest).
Tried to go further but turned back upon encountering 1 foot deep ruts...just as well, turns out the soil has high asbestos content. Check out the green and orange pool of water on the left.
