Just curious, the angle of the bikes in the picture make the 1200 look just a touch smaller than the 800...I'm sure this is not true, but which one feels smaller?

Size wise they both feel about the same to me, but I am not an expert by any means. The VFR1200F sits a little lower, so it is easier to sit flat footed when not in motion. The 1200 probably looks bigger not just due to the angle, but the lens was pretty wide for that shot as well.
