Nice bike there Mac. You race the VFR or other? I'm wondering about the viability of racing a 96 in amateur circuits.

Thanks,

Nah, haven't done any racing at all. Just mostly fast rides through the mountain twisties on weekends and days off.

All late model VFRs aren't really suited for tuning and racing. Not enough power, soft suspensions and too much weight. You got the RC30 and 45 for that.

I too love the 4th generation for obvious reasons. :)

Thats real nice looking. I like the black just below the seat. Looks alot like the wrap around seat on the previous generation.

I wish mine were that pretty. I have some cracked plastics and someone had painted mine a slightly different red in the past. I may try to repaint stock colors and find a tank for it that is stock color with graphics on it under the clear coat.

I thought about upgrading to a 5th generation, but then I think about it and ask myself WHY???

Thanks for all the praises guys! All compliments should be passed on to Honda for making such a beauty of a bike to start with. Without a good base to start with, you cannot come up with the same results.

All the other brand contemporaries certainly have not aged well compared to our fourth gen VFRs. VFRs are all easily modern classics!

Keep those fourth gens rolling!
