Member Contributer Thumper 8 31 Posted May 11, 2005 Looks to me like the Duffy Lake Road, between Pemberton (north of Whistler) and Lillooet - great local road. Temperatures now are probably 50's / 60's F (warmer in the sun) and looks like the ice is now melting off the lake, assuming this is a recent picture. Anyone in the 'hood this Sunday looking for a similar ride, there is a VFR ride planned, weather permitting. Guest Guest Posted May 13, 2005 Definitely the duffy. That's a fantastic ride but slow when the weather is cold and sand is all over the road. Great pic! Quote Link to comment

Guest sfassaert Posted June 21, 2006 The Pic was taken at april 19 2005 at 1:04 pm, and yes, it is the Duffy lake road, half covered with ice, facing west. The day was pretty warm, I did not have a heated vest or grips yet and was not uncomfortable with a few layers on top and a pair of jeans. Quote Link to comment
