Your making me homesick mate...................Gotta love the Great Ocean Road, its sorta like PCH over here, up past Lucia heading for Carmel.

Summer has just begun down here, however, the GOR is now 80km (50mph) for much of the coastal sections now. Some weekends motorcycles get pulled over so many times in one day by police (some on unmarked motorcycles or in unmarked cars) that it borders on harrassment.

A few mods since then. This is my most favourite road, 1038 bends in 90ks.

As for the GOR, it's OK (yes, damned by faint praise, I guess).

I've driven it in a car, but never ridden it, and I think I'd get frustrated by the viciously enforced speed limits. Here most of the great biking roads are also not policed much, being too far from main [revenue gathering] centres.
