Dirtyvfr8 Posted July 16, 2017 Share Posted July 16, 2017 I have a 98 800f1 im the 2nd owner with 28÷ thousand miles the bike runs excellent give or take the common querks....i recently did a complete teardown and rebuild just for my state of mind and wanting to be a professional builder and to learn my bike in the process.. When i bought the bike the only thing that i wanted fixed above all was the lcd screen...to no avail no mafter what i tried to do i could not get the lcds to ligjt up let alone show working information....i bought a new dash thinking mine was just shot and as i got my bike complete and ready to start walla lcds!!! Key off key on lcds!#! Hell yeah...press the starter button and my bike came to life i was happy....but then all of a sudden poof lcds gone!!!! WTF!! And 1 week later i still have no lcds!!! vegaquark Posted July 16, 2017 Share Posted July 16, 2017 Usually plain wires on the back of the lcd corrode or fail over time, so the lcd does not get power or signal.
