Delkevic 8" Mini Carbon Fiber Ordered

Ordered the 8" mini KIT0157 from Delkevic exhaust, yesterday. I'm guessing plenty of you on here are already running this setup, so I won't bore you with the details. I didn't see any threads that mentioned dislike for it, so I'm hoping to add myself to the happy masses.

I've already removed the OEM saddle bags, and mounting brackets, as I've read it's a little tight with it on. Meh, I wasn't gonna use the luggage anyways, I suppose.

Pics to come...

Been running the delks for a few weeks now and love them haha running them with out baffles and haven't had a problem with the noise... however with out the heat shield I do notice more hear so I wrapped the pipe that runs up to the cans .☺

Just installed the stainless variety of your setup. No issues with the luggage, Once the system was installed and I bolted the luggage racks on I loosened all the connections on the exhaust and with a little movement, clearance was fine. I am running them with the baffles. Nice sound, 10 lbs. saved!

Good thought on the heat wrap. I'll probably try it out naked first, and see what's what. Glad to hear you're enjoying it, I can't wait to get it installed. The stock exhaust note is a bit underwhelming...

To be honest, I was probably looking for a reason to take off the luggage racks anyway. When I first got the bike a couple weeks ago, I thought the luggage was pretty cool. The more I ride it, the more I realize that the luggage is unnecessary for me, and the rack frame was more unsightly than functional, for my use. Having taken that off, and now with the carbon Delks coming, It's starting to take on more of my personality. I guess I'll be selling the luggage...

I installed the Delks a few weeks after I got my RWB, and I love them. Very loud at full throttle, but I haven't had any neighbor complaints yet. I will probably wrap the mid-pipe at some point or figure out a way to retrofit the stock heat shield, but I've definitely noticed less heat building up in the factory bags when riding with them on.

Construction appears to be good, but what the hell do I know. The "carbon fiber" is just a wrap, but I figured that going in. We'll see how that stands up. Overall fitment is spot-on and install was a breeze. I've never really wrenched on bikes before, but have for years on cars. All the same, I suppose.

I'm happy with the purchase, and feel I got decent value. However, when I purchased it last week, It was out of stock, so they drop shipped it direct from their factory in China. I saw the amount the package was declared for, and it was A LOT less than retail. And I do mean A LOT. Margins are high, LOL.

It sounds delicious. I'll get better pics and sound clip here shortly. Sorry for messy garage. Meh...

Most stuff from china gets declared at way below actual retail

I regularly purchase parts and supplies for my multirotors / drones from there and they are usually declared at about 25% of their retail value

I can usually get 2 of the cars, the VFR, with my fridge, tool box, and large shelving. I've got a set of wheels and the luggage taking up one bay now. Need to get that sorted out this weekend.
