While going over the bike I found a thin (maybe 16ga?) cable with one side attached to the front left of the frame, and the other side dangling. A lot of people disconnect it for easier access to the top of the motor. I think the reason Honda put it there is to prevent the fuel tank from tipping completely over and damaging it. Edit: Actually, there might be a limit as to how far back the fuel tank can lift up and/or over (it's been a while since I've needed access to the area). In any event, it's no cause for concern.
