soichiro Posted October 30, 2014 Share Posted October 30, 2014 I was wondering when we will start to see the vtec spool valve start leaking on the vtec bikes. Im a Honda auto tech and replace the gaskets all the time because they can make a bad oil leak.The 6th gens is in between the on the left, under the throttle body. I don't know if it can be removed with the throttle body on, but maybe. On the Honda fiche for the vfr and an accord it only shows 1 gasket. We found there is a second one. It should be replacesd as well. The 1998-2002 accord uses the exact same valve and gaskets. Hondas numbers for the accord and the vfr, 15825-P0A-015 The second gasket for the accord is 36172-P0A-005.
