Guest jmac1957
Ok going to paint bags. Anyone have an idea of how to remove hinge pins? It would make the job so much easier. I'm a little concerned about reinstalling them although I assume they are just a press fit. anyone?
Member Contributer Conedodger Posted August 12, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted August 12, 2014 I very carefully ground down the blind side of the hinge with a Dremel Tool until I could see the pin. I then took a small nail and hammer and drove the pins out. After painting, I was able to push the pin back in with the hammer and nail.

Member Contributer gmtech94 Posted August 12, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted August 12, 2014 I have just drilled a small hole at the end of the pin ,if needed you can put a small amount of glue on the end to hold the pin once installed again not usually needed .
