His thread also reminded me that I have a small collection of catalogs from that era and really should get them scanned to file at some point before some natural catastrophe or the never ending march of time ruins them for good. There's some goodies stashed in my collection, probably make for a good episode of American Pickers when my wife sticks it all in a garage sale about 24 hrs. after I leave this earth! Probably could still get a Hindle race baffle in there if you wanted a bit more sound from her. 90 HP at the wheel isn't bad at all for what I would assume is a near stock '86 VFR-750. Schwantz's '86 GSXR-750 superbike only made 102HP at the wheel, and that was with 2mm oversize piston, cams, head work, port work, 38/40mm carbs, Falicon rods, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I put the Supertrap two pipe system on it for a while, but went back to the Micron because I liked the power delivery on it much better.
