Guest Evers
Hi folks, Last year I'd bought a new battery (Yuasa). Its always starting, even on cold winter days. But since a week is the bike not starting anymore. It's cranking very well and the battery is 12.5 V, also after cranking a while. When the engine is running the voltage is 14,6. But... when I put a battery charger a hour on the battery, it's starting immediately. Very strange... Could it be the spark plugs? --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?svixaa Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Member Contributer mk2davis Posted June 13, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted June 13, 2012 That's a stumper. What year is your bike? I'd pull some plugs and see if they have spark. It sounds like you charger is powering up something that isn't being powered by your battery normally. Possibly a bad ground?
Guest
Bike is from 2001. Plugs aren't changed since I'd bought the bike in 2008 (drove 27000km since then). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
