Guest TattooWes
alright. i tried to research it some it didnt go over so well. I have a 1993 VFR750F, has anyone ever swapped in a 1998 VFR800Fi engine? i have the parts sitting around i just havent felt muscle-man enough to try and see and i dont have the mounting hardware. so far my bike/pile is the basic 93 frame and swingarm, then i have the FULL 98 800Fi engine and wiring, nothing clipped and i have EVERYTHING. even the gastank for the 98 (i already know i need to so mounting points on the frame for it) and the full front end is 99 CBR600F4i. no fairings yet. any help would be awesome! thanks. NakedViffer
Not out of the realm of possibility, but its certainly not going to be a bolt in affair and would require some serious fabrication skills. For what it would cost, you could easily rebuild your motor with a +2mm overbore and have the same displacement.
