Guest 11JLARG Posted April 6, 2012 Share Posted April 6, 2012 when i took my bike out for spring maintenance i found my fst idle/choke lever is frozen in place and wont move.it is not froze on the handlebar side but the problem is on the throttle body side.just wanted to see if anyone else has seen this before.i found the three screws on the side where the lever pulls the plunger wer really loose tightened them up and its still stuck looks like i will need to remove the throttle bodies to get better acccess to free it up.looking for any suggestions because i really dont have time to do it right now.thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Veefer800Canuck Posted April 6, 2012 Share Posted April 6, 2012 Maybe your "choke" cable is bInding or frayed internally? I hope you did not tIghten the screws on the end of the "rake" that the cable pulls on as those are the throttle air bleed screws which are synchronized with a manometer.
