The Compu-fire regulator died on me and fried my Moty-design battery as it was letting 70V AC to the battery which turned the battery into a smoking molten blob and also fried my CDI box. Can't really blame the battery for that so now I'm back to running a GSX-R regulator (not the same part as I had sold the old one but one like it) and a Shorai LFX09A2-BS12 battery this time as the Shorai was better available locally. It is even lighter than the old Moty but less in capasity but works fine on the VFR750 and cranks plenty strong. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
