Guest blackbuell
Assuming the Commonwealth of KY will allow me to get my '98 VFR back on the road (bought it with a salvage title), I will have it and my '03 CBR1100XX available for riding. Until this past summer, I had the Bird and a '00 Buell S3. I divided the miles between the two bikes in a very specific way, based on their suitability for the tasks: Buell: local backroad twisty fun, short rides by myself. (lighter, more nimble, raw fun) Bird: all two-up rides, long rides (more powerful, smoother, much more reliable). I found that the two bikes complemented each other quite well. Here is my question: am I likely to find that my current two bikes are so similar in purpose and function that I will no longer need or want the Bird? Do any of you own both bikes? If so, how do you allocate your time between them? Jon
Baileyrock
I had a 97 XX and a 2000 VFR, the only thing the bird didn't do better was tighter stuff with both in stock config.
