The pass west of Sisters was covered in gravel and still snowing -- yuck! Hope to be heading over there in the very near future, as the NE quadrant of Oregon is a favorite place to ride. Actually, I probably ride more in Oregon than in Idaho. Guest Posted May 14, 2008 Share Posted May 14, 2008 The weather in the north and central parts of Oregon was sunny with cloudy periods, a nice 65 degrees during the daytime, and the roads were fantastic - especially down near Fossil. Towards the mountain passes, the weather was definitely a factor with rain, sleet, snow all still coming down. The pass west of Sisters was especially nasty with red gravel strewn all over the road. I'll post more pics when my buddies get home - they are still going into California and they took way more pics than me. How is Lolo pass this time of year?
