Guest JCR
I just bought a 1985 VFR700 and the rear shock is kaput. I know I can get a Works Performance shock for it, but don't want to spend more than I did for the entire bike. FWI~ The rear of the bike is like a hard tail. Is the stock shock easily repairable/rebuildable, or just good for a paperweight now?
Member Contributer Burns Posted August 28, 2007 Member Contributer Share Posted August 28, 2007 ok, before anyone blasts you, and '85 is a VF, not a VFR... now, as far as the shock goes, contact Jamie Daugherty on the list... he's worked out a couple shock options for the older V4's..
