How do you know when it's time...

So after 8 hrs work, 1 snapped subframe bolt and a shed load of patience, I now have a new shock absorber, front fork springs/oil and new head race bearings fitted....Yay!

Came to test ride her and the battery is flat! (New one now on order!) So I still do not know what she will ride like. However, just sitting on the bike I can feel an incredible difference. The back end no longer bounces like a pogo stick and the front end is so much firmer, with even damping and no clicking from the bearings!

Can't wait to test ride her.

Will keep you posted!

Took her for a ride this AM. smile.gif

Feels like a different bike! I didn't realise a heavy VFR could corner so well.

Money well spent, I reccomend new suspension to anyone with high mileage/older bikes!

Looking foward to the summer!
