Hello, New to the group and new to VFRs. Picked up a 2006 VFR with 8k miles. I got a Power Commander III to help with the dip in responsiveness/performance between 4k-6k RPM. Looking for someone to share a MAP to a PCIII or PC V that they run on their bike. My bike is stock with exception to the Power Commander. Any help would be awesome to get a MAP that someone is actually using or has experience with to upload to my bike. Any other suggestions for improving the performance I will gladly listen to. Thanks so much for the help and this group. Some really great content on here. Thanks!

Hi kiddos. I looked at used 800cc VFR's, and think I will go up to the big dog. there are some new leftover 2010's close to home and may pull the trigger. I have a lot of catching up to do and will add-on to the beast, but it sounds like some engine management issues are the first order of business. I do want to unrestrict the first and second gears, I want a nicer looking slip on that is medium loud, I would like smooth fuel delivery. I do not know if I need the shift kit or traction control since I am not a racer, but perhaps better traction is a good thing? My silly questions are as follows: I see ECU re-flashing as an option which I thought was a mapping issue, but may also derestrict the first and 2nd gear? Power Commander is mapping solution only, from what I understand. Bazazz Z-Bomb looks like a quick fix for the gear restriction issue. Bazazz also has a fuel deliver option and traction/quick shifting options, which are in addition to the Z-Bomb Juice Box is also a fuel mapping enhancer? Do the flapper things on the stock exhaust get snipped for aftermarket exhaust? I have read about 2 hours of info, and will read more, but I some answers here will save me a week of reading! TIA!
