Well I seem to have a odd problem, no shop or importer have a 45 thoot sprocket in stock in my country!

I was going to change them early next week.

So I´m in to ither stock 17/43 or go one down front to 16/43.

I was also planing to rise the rear a bit by shiming the upper shock mount. Going down one on front sprocket and riseing rear end, will I have my chain rubbing the swingarm all the time? :wheel:

Att the moment I sitt and wounder if I will get stock 17/43 or 17/45 for my 5th gen.

I would like second a bit lower in twists, spechally 2 up, but I will go a lot commuting next season, so how mutch will it effect fule economy?

And it looks exactly the sam as my JT Braking rotor I got for my -87 a year ago, witch looked werry good quality, better finnish than the EBC rotors I buoght for front years ago.

I have to check mine. I have a 00 whit the H.I.S.S system, might be that that made differens in the top tre, as the key look/ignission look are bigger on 00 on whit the H.I.S.S.

Let's put it this way -- watching that original test run video now makes the bike seem tame. I'm contemplating returning my gearing back to stock as my front end has seen daylight in 5th gear. As long as you're ready for the power and put some weight over the tank, keeping the front end down really isn't an issue...

...beyond 3rd gear.

I guess it eats rear tires whit good apetite :laugh:

I dont know if it wil help, but since I put on the 929 shock, I have a spare 5th generation shoc that anybody is welcome to have for their 4th gen. (i dont know if the 5th gen is any better than the 4th gen)

Hi, Can you mesure how long the stock 5th gen shock is?

I´m currius to know. I try to figur out to fit a 4th gen Öhlins to my 5th gen, but dont want to take out the shock if any can mesure from one alredy out.

My 5th gen shock is ~ 12 13/16" (325mm) eye-center to eye-center.

Its sweet! I have many times wounder how much work to put a 916 rear end on my RC24...
