As tested by the mad Fin, doing an iron butt with one... :-)
: ) A ride you don´t forget easy! In bad as good, mostly the later!

Cool, but be prepared for more fuel stops, the tank is quit a bit smaller.....not a bad thing for the butt ; ) Not that the VF500 seat is bad, its quit good actually!
-
Sorry to hear that Dutchy, but better the 4th gen than the VF500, parts easyer to find! Still better you did not hurt, there are other bikes, but not a second you!

Happy man you are!

It will be a night vs day different I think as you get all back and out on the road!
-
Good thing, she did need it! Was happy I think :)

Did not open my fork legs, sorry. But sure look like the Trac side has 2 and other side just one, but seem to be different between the legs also, at least according to CMSNL, even they has only the US speck listed.

But today after work was done, I took out redslut for a bit of quality time!
The bloming threes looks as nice as last year
Good the tire worked well
-
Looks like the holder of the front turn signals has hit your fork seal, did it on mine to! Needed some adjustmet to clare it... I think you will have a "new" bike again whit new fork seals and emulator kit
But how did your new, bigger size, front tire work?
-
A higher profile tire has a bigger OD that will rise the front and effect the fork/head angle, so will effect the steering in some degree. Also the Trail will slightly change.
-
Well new rubber always feel good, mainly think if the steering did get any slower......
-
How does the bigger tire effect the handling?
Effect on the odo/speedo reading?
-
So what size if the Roadsmart?
-
Nice panorama pic!
So I guess you perefer the older "slut" still
-
The reason the rear has got rusty is water/moisture has worked past the seal and it has had less grease in there.
And the rubber usually get swollen if the get to much oil or brake fluid on them, happen to me some times to

All the fun of having a ~20 year (or older) bike I think
-
The require the mounting bracket to have 2 holes (1 for the wires 1 for the bolt) the the front brackets on Puma are different... 1 has 2 holes, 1 only 1......
The joys of a 30 years old motorcycle eh?
It can be, the bit might be from a other market area or a cheap made (non oem) spare.
Just drill the hole you need and you can mount them. I would take off the bracket for the drilling to be on the safe side..........
The stock ones look good I think

Kiitos Keny!
The rear BT45 has plenty thread left, is from 2012 and the bike has been inside a garage since I bought it last year.
So I am leaning towards the 110-90-16 BT45 again as not to mix brands. Or have you mixed Pirelli fronts with BT at the back?
I have tried different brands, had a BT45 rear and a Lasertec front on my RG250 2 stroke, no problem, but a BT45 in 100/90-16 is a good chose. Better to feel safe. Whit a 16" front I used to wear out 2 fronts on one rear, that the RC24.
-
For tiren, the 110/90 is quit a bit bigger in OD to the 100/90, and will slow your steering. I would stay whit stock size. the BT45 you have as Metzeler Lasertec and Pirellis SportDemon are your choice if you not lean on a Duro or alike budget rubber, witch I think you will not. Haven ridden all 3 I think the most sporty is the Pirelli in both handling as grip, Lasertec has the look for the 80´s bikes and a solid owerall performer, the BT45 you know what is and its a solid performer as well.

An add, for me the problem just happened now and then when steering in a certan angle and suspension did use a lot of travel. Other than that I think the look cool, forgot to mention that!
