+1 on that, the red wheels look sexy. The rest of the bike looks good too.
  2. As I said before when we met up to ride to Fall Meet, I didn't like them at first but by the return trip home, they kinda grew on me. Looking good! Hope things are going well up there. Assuming your not going to get a chance to make it to Tmac this year? Cya around. As as side note, I think you were behind me in that pic!
  3. Wow, thats a lot lol. Suprised you don't have ground clearance problems with that. I'm contemplating investing in an Ohlins rear shock, I've just never been able to get the suspension setup the way I want on the rear. Gotta wait til after TMac because that will be a 2 week trip for me so need to save $$$ til then.
  4. Owe yeah, lift the front off the ground first, edited first post to add that. I just put it up on center stand and tie-strapped the back down to lift the front up.
  5. Was raising my forks up the way I had them before I took the bike in for warranty work on throttle cables, figured I would do How-To in case anyone was interested that was unsure what to do. Enjoy! Cover tank before you start, in case you drop a wrench or something. I've learned from experience. Edit: Forgot to mention, raise the front of the bike up before you start. The bike will come crashing down from the weight when you loosen the 4 triple clamp bolts if you don't. I put mine on the center stand and pulled the back down with a tie-strap.

  7. I've drug my saddle bags before but my back wheel lost traction immediately when it happened, took that pressure off the rear tire. I was lucky though, the tire recaught traction about a foot later. Happened so quick it was all over before I realized the bag hit. Scary feeling. Not sure its possible honestly to have the bag dragging all the way around the turn and not loose the back tire from weight transfer, but not saying its impossible.

    Busted

I've had 2 pull overs, once they had report of someone on a blue bike ( when I had my YZF ) riding fast through the neighborhood, and another cop radioed that they cought the guy on the other side of town, then the officer proceeded to give me a written warning for speeding, when it wasn't me and I wasn't doing anything. BS. Then the other time was me rushing through a stop light, he didn't believe me when I said the sun got in my eyes, which it didn't, but I tried. No tickets, lotta oh $@#% moments as I've seen cops.

This was a pic from a few months ago after I had Givi Top case installed at Honda Hoot in Knoxville. Picture was taken after I got home and washed it after riding home through 3 hours of rain.
