Very Cool!! Mmmm yellow LED's hehe. Is the mirror extender cast or a chunk of acrylic?
Spoon,
1.5" clear acrylic. I made about 40 sets for 5th and 6th gen bikes for folks here on the forum. I think it's a nice addition as you can see behind you MUCH better. There's nothing fancy about them. If you can find the acrylic, some longer metric bolts and you have access to a bandsaw and a sander, you too can make them without much trouble. I think even GenMar sells them for about $60 / pair.
Are you saying you have some for a 6th Gen (w/o lights)? If so, I'll take a set please. I'll PM you for details.
Cheers,

I would also be glad to help with any print / layout design work.
I have already taken KKKKen's instructions and images and condensed into a handy booklet.
Can provide in .pdf or print / cut / staple / send actual copies. Run a full printing busn. out of the
house.
Build it and they will come (and when them come, if they fall they will be ok :salesman: )

For what its worth - if there are any GTA / SOuthern Ontario or other folks close enough that want me to do this install for you, I'd be pleased to help you out. Get your bike to my place, and an hour later you're bike will be done. We'll likely still be shooting the shit, but it doesn't take too long.
That's a little far for me to ride. Anyone in Western Canada that is confident and willing, I'll be there!

Thanks Ken,
I'll go find him and forward a PM.

Really like the way you explained the install and how it comes together.
Can you post a link to Radar or forward contacts as to how I go about getting a set?
I've read all the posts here on sliders, installations and coolant bottle mods. I know
it needs to be done. A little nervous about the process and would prefer riding to meet
someone who's done it, but then again, everyone who's done it was also a little nervous. :idea3:
Looking forward to the rest of your thread.
Cheers.

This may be too obvious for most, but I need to ask.
Once you have installed the 330 ohm resistors, can you remove the opposite plug ends right down to the pipes?
I beleive I read once on a lost thread, that you can plug off where the sensors tap into the pipes, before the cat.
Is this true? If so, what might one suggest is the best plugging method (if other than just a suitable bolt)?
