I wonder if Sbarro Design has been involved in this design.

Very cool shot. Where is it?
It is the Laerdalstunnel in western Norway. Being the longest tunnel in the country, it is more than 15 miles, the constructors made three of these halls, to counteract claustrophobia among the drivers.

The best time to visit (western) Norway would be early June before the summer traffic sets in. The weather usually is better in June, but if I were to choose between July or August, I would recommend late in August.
Here is a picture from another sweet place for mountain carving; Lysebotn in sw-Norway:
I don't know how drunk the road engineers were when building this road, but it's a lot of fun to ride.

Hehe... It's the VENTURA Bike-Pack motorcycle luggage system. more info
-
It's the Aurland fiord, part of the Sognefiord, world's second longest fiord, stretching more than 120 miles. More info here
This route is possible to view in FlashStream on RoadMC.com.
Select: Norway> Aurland-Laerdal 2003 in the menu.
There is a new stream published, showing The Sogn Mountain Road - "Sognefjellsveien 2004", one of the most scenic roads in Norway.

I dont know how high they were, but the bank on the right was at least 15 feet high, maybe as much as 20. It was like driving through a corridor, not knowing what was around next corner.

Exhaust pipes are, on the R1: Yoshimura and on my VFR: G&G Bike. Hesjedal Waterfall is by the road from Dale (east of Bergen) to Modalen. Very narrow roads and very scenic.

The picture is taken from a rear mounted pen-videocamera, and it's a still from the Stryn video on www.roadmc.com.

Thanks, glad You like them.

We've had our yearly "road-stop" last weekend, and have decided this years trip to start in south-western Norway, from Lysebotten via Stavanger up the coastal road north to Floroe. This area has not been travelled by RoadMC before. The roads are mostly lots of corners, but narrow at places. We have not detaled the routes yet, but hopefully You can view them on the site in october or later. Our "propellerhead" is overloaded with tasks and he does not know when he can edit the footage for publishing. In fact there are still two routes from last year that haven't been published yet.

Hi from Norway.
I've been travelling for almost a week and hasn't been able to login before now.
Thanks for the nice comments. My 4th gen is now starting on its tenth season, and according to my mechanic; good as new.
I've gathered all my answers here.
The video equipment is described on this website: http://www.roadmc.com/default.asp?pubid=53...2&pub=1&labb=US ,
and yes, there is a peg scraping somewhere.
The Yellow whas my own idea in 1996 after a couple of near death experiences on the then black VFR. Had a friend repaint it in Yellow to be more visible in traffic. When I had the bike to the shop for regular service shortly after, they photographed it and sent the photos to Honda in Japan. The 5th gen came with the same color in 98 in Europe. I'm not saying the fifth gen came in yellow because of my bike, but it has exactly the same color.
Sheep can be a problen, but we haven't got any incidents yet.
The camera bike was a 4th gen with slip on from G&G Bike, the same as on my 4th gen.

Slammer,
Tanks for Your nice comments.
My part in roadmc.com is only as a rider. Terje Enge is the webmaster and should have all the credits for the site. He still has some nice footage from last summers roadmc-trip that has not been published yet, but he hasn't got the time to edit them for the site. Glad You enjou the videos, there is more to come.
