Ah, thank you, I was reading that as "in reference to" #1, and didn't catch the implication that #2 just match. Thanks for that other thread also, I will be giving that a shot. Cheers

The factory manual is clear about the vacuum settings for cylinders #3 and #4 (-20mmHg and -10mmHg from #1 respectively), but says nothing about #2 (see pic). Advice, please? I'm sure I could split the difference and be fine but I'd like to know the real deal. thanks Mike

Anybody have a pair they would part with? Hard to find them, except for the gas tank-mounted style, but I'm looking for OE type. Would also appreciate knowing if ones from later gens fit. Thanks, Mike

Hello everyone, new member here, just bought a '99 VFR800 with 36k miles. My three other bikes are '70's vintage, so the experience of this bike is a real departure, to say the least. Rode for an hour and a half today, and am just in love. Haven't done anything but an oil change (and checking vitals) so far, but doing lots of reading. Luckily the stator/reg-rec/ and battery were done before I bought her with Rick's Motorsports components, so that's out of the way. She rides beautifully, with maybe a bit of steering head play to address. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions as I get deeper into it. Cheers, Mike
