Oil change and replace left side fairings day...I feel so pretty now

It can go quite a bit higher. 

Can position it in a wheelie,  stoppie or level position

Lifting points are the swing arm bolts/ pivot points

Bought a lift from a VFR guy... first project oil change and replacing left side fairings

That's what I thought...tks

Can you still keep the catalytic converter with this header?

I don't remember having to do anything to the sidestand.  I did have to adjust the brake pedal and brake light switch a bit is all. 

SubyRS... that looks great!...I never even noticed that I could take that spacer out on mine when I did the comp-werkes eliminator. 

Also took the 8th gen out for a 250 mile ride yesterday thru Tarryal reservoir and Deckers area yesterday....

Aired up the tires...

Wired up the honda accessory socket under the seat...

Didn't break anything

Changed the oil and topped off the coolant... and I didn't break anything

I tipped it over in the garage today while driving onto the dolly... rear tire must have not been lined up good enuf and I caught the edge and over we went.   Threw a leg out,  but that pig had other ideas...

Serviced the front and rear brakes today,  good by original brake fluid,  hello fresh stuff. 

Also washed and waxed it.  And mounted the givi v47 box and loaded it up with my cool weather gear.  Need to find some reflective decals to put on that givi box now...

Any 8th gen folks mount one of these without the dyno tune?  What are the impressions. How does it run without a tune? 

I rode it to/ from work in 100° weather... wish I would have worn my mesh pants today instead of my non vented pants over my jeans...ugh

I didn't do anything to my bike today...I did however clean out all the junk that was behind it so I can get the ol 8th gen out for a ride this week

Cleaned and lubed chain 

Washed and waxed 

Now it sits waiting for the sun to come out later this week

Went for a ride... wasn't out for long,  but it felt good

And of course its supposed to snow tomorrow

Mounted up an Arrow exhaust i got of FB vfr800 owners group... of course it's supposed to rain/ snow tomorrow...

Bought it a lil over a year ago... original owner put 600 miles on it... I've done the rest

Removed my broken comp-werkes tail tidy bracket and replaced it with the VFR12OO tail tidy from Comp-Werkes.

Original owner bent some other model up,  but it had stress cracks and eventually failed.   VFR12OO model tidy fits right in there...a lil fiddling with the license plate light housing gasket and its a pretty simple install. 

Cleaned and lubed the chain today... need to change the oil still...grrr

Time to kick this thread again! 

Ordered a set from BLS for my 8th gen recently... my knees thank you!

It was the shorty chromed one. 

Sold it to a guy on the CO Vfr FB messenger group chat...

Got rid of loud delkevic and installed stock muffler.   Mebbe I'll find something else I like better,  but I like what's left of my hearing more...
