2007 Honda VFR800 for sale with less than 6,800 miles! I am the 2nd owner. The bike was dropped by the first owner, apparently while stationary, cosmetic damage only (see photos). I am moving overseas so I must part with my beloved. - Oil: changed about 800 miles ago with full synthetic. - Coolant: changed about 800 miles ago. - New Yuasa battery about 800 miles ago. - Tires: Front looks good, rear is not bad but a replacement should be on your radar. - Leo Vince slip ons - Power commander - Battery Tender quick connect - Center stand - Tags good until October 2022, title in hand $5k. Pick up in Seattle area.

I installed a set of Leo Vince pipes and at this point don't plan to put stock back on. Free if you pick it up in the Seattle area. Let me know if you want pictures.

I paid $115 for a Yuasa on Amazon. Pricey and perhaps I could have found it cheaper elsewhere, but it seems to balance out in the end. At least I didn't buy it from Cycle Gear.

You help is appreciated. I just ordered a Yuasa but I was reading some older threads about lithium. Do you think lithium is a good upgrade?

Recently got a 2007. I rode to the store and when I was leaving, it wouldn't start. Got it jumped, rode it home, and fully charged the battery. Then, did a voltage test on the battery with the following results... - Everything off: ~12.5V - Ignition on, engine off: ~11.7V - Cranking: dipped as low as upper 8V - Idle: 14.1V - 5K: 14.5V From what I've read, the stator and RR seem alright and the battery is on it's way out due to the low cranking voltage. I'm going to replace the battery anyway (no history) but I just want to hone my troubleshooting skills. Can I pin this on the battery? On a side note, the battery currently in the bike lists 120 CCA whereas the OEM Yuasa is 210. Can a low CCA rating cause problems?

As I understand it, the PAIR valve introduces fresh air into the exhaust for emissions purposes. The air goes in before the O2 sensor hence the popular PAIR valve mod. If an O2 eliminator is installed (e.g. with a PC3), wouldn't that make the PAIR valve mod obsolete?

Thanks for your input, all. I'm leaning towards adopting her; I've always been a fan of the VFR and it seems like they last a long time with TLC.

Thinking about buying a 2007 Anniversary edition with around 6K miles. It has been dropped (while stationary) and the telltale bent clutch lever and minor fairing damage is there. I heard it start cold and test rode it and everything seems fine but I thought I smelled coolant during stops on the test ride. Can drops on the 6th gen damage the radiators? I'm not a mechanic but am mechanically inclined so I wouldn't mind working on it or would a drop like that be a deal-breaker?
