  1. Thanks for the photo! It seems all I need to do is connect the spring, though it is almost as the spring is too long, and or the hooks are not facing the proper direction. Reviewing the service manually, I see this https://cl.ly/440J1r1x3l2z but man would be rad to see the other side/breakout. Blargh, I am sure I am just missing something stupid/simple. ?

    1998 VFR Track

  3. Hi there, Like a track noob I took off my side stand and picked up a single swing-arm pit bull stand. It looks all cool, but is overkill since I don't use/need tire warmers at my novice level. It's a pain in the arse when I am at the track by myself doing the single swing arm stand and was going to put back on the kick-stand. Though having the damnedest time remember how this thing goes back on. I have the 1998 manual, but not entirely sure where these springs need to attach or if I am missing parts? Side note: I do plan to keep the center stand off. By chance could somebody post a photo of their 1998 side-stand setup that I could gleam how to re-attach? W @wesburke
  4. Thanks for the fast replies... ? I am going to call the local dealer first thing in the a.m, if not will jump on the Ebay order. Excited to get the last track day in for the season here around Chicago. I've had this VFR for nearly 10yrs on the street (long distance), and she and I are new to the track this summer. It has been fun learn so much and represent the VFR! ? W @wesburke
  5. Hi there, With the last track day this coming Saturday, I am in a pinch and need to replace my bent OEM brake lever for my 1998 VFR 800. I've been scouring the internet, but I know this is also the place to go and ask if in need. I've been staring at $200 replacements and even $10 replacements, though admittedly the point I am at is speed to get it to me before Thursday. I've been looking through Amazon with prime and seems I could get one here on Friday, heh with a quick turnaround for Saturday's track day. Any resources or suggestions? I would be cool with a simple OEM replacement. Or is this just a call to the local Honda shop on Monday morning to ask how soon/if they could get one over? Thanks for the time and happy riding!
